My intent when painting this small landscape with pastel colors was to give the viewer a sense of peace and simplicity. Hopefully, it invites one to pause and savor the delicate beauty of a sunny spring morning. If you look closely, you'll see that the grass is speckled with tiny pastel wildflowers in shades of pink and blush. For an extra (and last minute) touch, I added the pretty little blue stream running through the landscape! See the companion pieces to this one as well as the set of 3. All are original pieces, 14 x 14 and framed in gold bamboo frames.
